Jordan University College Salvatorian Institute |
This is the 3rd academic year since 2010 when the Salvatorian Institute of Philosophy and Theology transformed into Jordan University College. In this period the College is growing rapidly. The number of students increased from 696 in 2010/11 and 1,445 in 2011/12 to 2,404 registered students this academic year. The number of academic programmes increased as well from 5 in 2010/2011 and 14 in 2011/12 to 25 programmes offered this academic year in areas of Philosophy, Theology, Education, Sociology, Religious Studies, African Studies and Business Studies. Currently the College is waiting for accreditation of some Masters’ programmes that are to be launched in the coming academic year.
The official Inauguration of the Academic Year was celebrated on 11th October we were honoured by the presence of His Excellency Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Francisco Montecillo Padilla. Rev. Dr. Tadeusz Jarosz SDS delivered very interesting Lectio Magistralis on Public Relations in the Diplomacy of the Holy See.
